ART BETTUZZI

Art Bettuzzi started his Real Estate sales career over 20 years ago in Downtown Chicago with a national condominium developer. After selling condominium homes for a couple of years he moved into Sales Management where he headed a team that sold a conversion project whose profits were dedicated to endow an educational foundation. This project was so successful that it doubled the anticipated endowment in just seven months.

Art then moved into Project Management where his team converted the tallest residential all-brick building in the world, The New York Private Residences. It took less than three years to close out the 594 homes plus the commercial space.

Following that success, Art was hired by the largest REIT in the nation, Equity Residential, to help build and expand their Condominium Division as its Vice President. Starting locally with Four Lakes in Lisle, Art’s team sold the 942 homes in three years. This included heavy construction and property management components as well as managing the Master Homeowner’s Association.

As the company branched out into other markets in Seattle, Washington, Phoenix/Scottsdale, Arizona, and South Florida, Art headed the Sales and Operations for the entire country overseeing 12 properties at any one time. Art was the architect of the sales program that saw sales of over 200 homes in under 48 hours each at many different properties.

Art has been involved with every aspect of Property Development including acquisitions, budgeting, compliance, property management, legal, construction, closings, and obviously sales. Throughout his career, Art has become familiar with most forms of Real Estate: Residential, Commercial, Development, New Construction, REO, HUD, and Short Sales.

Art has trained over 1,000 Salespeople and Managers using his unique brand of humor, honed at The Players Workshop of Second City. Art believes that people learn more if they’re engaged and entertained. Real Estate sales and management have certainly exposed him to a lot of situations showing the funny side of this business. He shares his experiences with his students to drive home how it’s never a dull day in Real Estate!

Sincerely,

Art Bettuzzi
